So What Now God?

Have you ever reached a point in your life where you ask God....."So what now"? I know I have. You face things in your life, and you pray about them, asking God to answer your prayers, then all of a sudden....what you thought was going to happen.....didn't. And you're like... "Now wait a minute! I prayed for God to work this out....and now....it's going in a different direction! What's going on? " Then when that happens, sometimes we get frustrated, or angry, or we begin to worry. We feel like we've lost control of things and we panic.....get scared.....maybe start trying figure out what went wrong... did we do something we shouldn't? Did we not handle it right? Did we read something wrong? Questions....questions.....questions.....
But maybe God is working things out for us..... just not the way we thought they should be worked out...
Maybe He's taking us in a DIFFERENT direction! A direction we didn't see coming. I found out a long time ago that God has a permissible will ..... and a perfect will. I also found out that when we pray and we tell God that we want to be in His perfect will....We better mean it! And.....we better be ready for it! Because God may have a completely different walk or direction for us than what we had planned. We can make all the plans we want to....but if and when we say to God, "Lord, I want to be in Your perfect will.....Your perfect plan for my life"..... then God hears our prayers, sees our hearts, and begans to take us down that path that HE wants us to go. When He does, we may begin to think, "Oh my goodness God.....what is going on? Why are these things happening in my life?" And we don't understand. But God sees the big picture and He knows what His will is for our lives. He has known all along.....but He waits for us to reach a point in our lives where we surrender, and become willing and have a desire, to be in His ...... perfect ....... will. Sometimes, what He has planned for us, may be something we didn't see coming.....or He may take us down a path that we would have never imagined. Sometimes we have to give up things that we hold dear to us, things that we may not understand what the purpose is of giving it up...... but God didn't say we would always understand.....He said to Trust Him. He said He would never leave us or forsake us. He said He would supply our .... needs...
God does have a plan for our lives. It's up to us to decide if we are willing to put it all in His hands...be obedient....be willing to go wherever He leads us.... and even though we may not understand, and even though we may feel like Peter when he told Jesus out on the sea that night, "Lord, if it's really You, bid me to come to You." So Jesus bid him to come to Him on the water, and Peter stepped out of the boat and began to walk on the water....but then suddenly, he began to look all around him and he seen the waves tossing to and fro, and suddenly everything seemed scary to him, and he took his eyes off Jesus...... and he began to sink and cry out to Jesus, "Lord, save me!!" Jesus so calmly reached out to him and pulled him back up..and He said, "Why did you doubt?" When I find myself beginning to worry about what's going on in our lives, I can hear Jesus softly whisper, "Trust Me.....You have to trust Me... You said you wanted to be in My perfect will. Now you have to trust what I'm doing and the direction I'm taking You in."
"So ..... what now God?" .............. He's telling me, "Trust Me.... keep your eyes focused on Me and not your circumstances, stay in My Word and Trust Me. " If you are going through something in your life that you don't understand and you're saying, "What now God?", as hard as it may seem to be to you, ...... Trust Him, because when we truly put our trust in HIm, He will calm our fears, He will never leave our side, and He will never lead us down the wrong path. "I trust You God"....
